"Žilina" is the result of a musical residency in the town of Žilina, western Slovakia, in August 2016.
Matteo Tambussi and Marek K spent two weeks living and working in the attic of an old train station, now serving as cultural node (stanica.sk). Scrap recording equipment, surrounding small city's life. Every morning a new encounter, a personal story, a gossip, caught into the scrapbook and taken back into the studio, where by the evening it would become a fully arranged song recorded on tape. Vintage sounds, lo-fi textures, fresh unpolished stories and spoken word. Watch the first single video Platonicka Láska.
Our T-shirt represents “ Žilina"'s visual review by stage designer Valentina Psenner.
The Album will be released by the italian label Calista Records on the 15th of September.
